Letter From the CEO
Welcome to the Official Website of Psi Chapter—Kappa Alpha Theta at University
of Wisconsin-Madison. We're glad you're here!
Kappa Alpha Theta is an International Women's Fraternity founded in 1870 as the
first Greek letter fraternity known among women. If you are initiated as a member
of Kappa Alpha Theta, you will join over 250,000 women across the country and
world who hold the same values you do. We strive every day for moral, intellectual
and social growth. This means we value academics, service and spending time
and having fun with your sisters.
The connections and friendships you make in Theta will truly last a lifetime. I
always knew that I wanted to go through recruitment, and the moment I stepped
into 108 Langdon I knew that I was at home. You will be surrounded by supportive,
hilarious, amazing sisters who only want you to succeed. Being around such
positive, inspirational people has made my college experience incredible. Not only
is there always someone to study with, but there is also always a shoulder to cry
on, as well as a hysterical joke that leaves everyone’s stomach hurting from
laughing too much. Whether it’s watching the Bachelor in our movie room, or the
newest documentary out on Netflix, you will feel inseparable from women who
were complete strangers just a year ago.
Theta Badgers can be found on campus participating in, leading, and even
founding prominent student organizations, working in groundbreaking research
labs, or succeeding in work places on campus and around the country. Whether it
is your New Year’s resolution to go to the gym every day or get that 4.0 GPA, your
friends here will support you no matter what.
In my position as Psi’s Chief Executive Officer this year, I have been able to work
alongside some of the hardest working, smartest, most dedicated leaders I've ever

Theta Love and Mine,
Chief Executive Officer 2018
Here at Psi Chapter, we do things BIG. BOLD. BEAUTIFUL. We love where we came from, what we stand for, and where we are going. Here's to sharing what you love with the world.
Opening the doors of 108 Langdon to everyone going through recruitment is such a memorable and rewarding time each and every fall. One of our favorite things about starting the new year, is coming together to welcome the newest member class. We have so much Theta love, and can't wait to share it.
As an international organization of women committed to spreading the widest influence for good, we have contributed millions of dollars over the years to local and National CASA programs, as well as countless volunteer hours. It has been an amazing 25 years, but our work is not done.
For those of you who don’t know about the fundamentals of collegiate Greek life, and even for those who do, you’ll learn that the foundation of any sorority is sisterhood. As a Theta, you know that each sister will stand up for you and be there whenever you need her.
